Deepika Padukone recently starred in the movie Chhapaak and is set to star in ’83 next.  She is one of the most famous actresses of Bollywood.  The actress recently took to her Twitter handle to announce her next project, which is an adaptation of the hit Hollywood movie The Intern (2015.)

The Intern starred big names like Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway in the lead roles.  The movie is about how Ben Whittaker (Robert De Niro) applies as an intern as a part of the Senior Citizen Intern Program at Jules Ostin’s (Anne Hathaway) company.  The plot explores how both the characters change each other through learning for the better.

The Bollywood adaptation of The Intern, which is to be produced by Warner Brothers India and Deepika Padukone, will star Rishi Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.  The movie is scheduled to be released in 2021.
