Saif Ali Khan had a successful last year with the second season of Netflix’s Sacred Games.  He also acted in the film Laal Kaptaan, which did not fare well at the box office.  However, he is set to change that this year with Jawaani Jaaneman, which is set to be released on February 7th.

The film stars Saif Ali Khan, Tabu and debut actress Alaya Furniturewala in lead roles, with Kubbra Sait and Chunky Pandey in supporting roles.  The trailer of the movie was released on video platform YouTube by Pooja Entertainment.

Noted Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter page and said, “Funky and quirky… The plot as well as the characters [#Saif, #Tabu and #Alaya] makes it so interesting..(sic.)”

The plot of the movie is about how a middle aged man, who likes to live his life to the fullest, suddenly comes in contact with his daughter about whom he did not know and Tabu, the mother, whom he does not remember.  The movie follows the unravelling of the plot after the three of them meet.

Saif Ali Khan will also star as the antagonist in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, which is set to be released on January 10th, 2020.  On the other hand, Jawaani Jaaneman is slated to release on January 31st, 2020.  Saif Ali Khan is ready to start the year on a high with these two films.
