Prateek Kuhad is an Indian singer-songwriter who found a loyal fan following amongst the Indian millennials and the Gen X with his music.  While he has a following in the international arena as well, it now looks like he is going to get more followers, thanks to Barack Obama. Barack Obama was the 44th President of the United States of America and is widely loved all over the world due to his witty charm, acceptance of all cultures and down to earth attitude.

Barack Obama released his list of favourite songs of 2019 on his Twitter page and it suddenly sent the Indian twitterati into a frenzy.  Prateek Kuhad featured on the list for his song cold/mess.

Once Obama tweeted, it did not take long for the news to reach Prateek Kuhad, owing to multiple retweets.  Prateek Kuhad replied, “This just happened and I don’t think I’ll sleep tonight. Totally flipping out. I have no idea how cold/mess even reached him but thank you @barackobama, thank you universe.I didn’t think 2019 could’ve gotten better, but damn was I wrong. What an honour. (sic.)”
