According to the latest reports, the cast of Pati Patni Aur Woh, Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday, are going to reunite next week.  The cast is coming together to recreate a Govinda song which gained a cult following over the years. 

The cast will recreate the famous song Ankhiyon Se Goli Maare from the Govinda and Raveena Tandon starrer Dulhe Raja (1998.)  The song will be choreographed by Farah Khan.  Film director Mudassar Aziz is quite excited to have Farah Khan as a part of the team as she has seen Aziz’s journey from a writer to a filmmaker. 

While the song doesn’t fit the narrative of the movie, Aziz said it was necessary to add a fun song to the story.  Mudassar Aziz further added, “Our film is based on a certain milieu. This requires most songs in the movie to take the narrative forward. We collectively felt that we needed to communicate to the audience that the movie is an entertainer. So, we required a fun song where the characters could let loose in an alternate setting, where even the Patni and Woh could be together.”

Produced by Bhushan Kumar under his banner T-Series, Pati Patni Aur Woh is the remake of the 1978 film of the same name, starring Sanjeev Kumar.  Pati Patni Aur Woh stars Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles.  The movie is slated to hit theaters on December 6th, 2019.
