Bala, the latest Song from the upcoming movie Housefull 4, went viral on social media.  The wacky track features Akshay Kumar in a bald avatar, dancing his heart out.  The actor also started an online challenge called the #balachallenge.  The challenge saw many people, including celebrities like Ayushmann Khurrana and Kareena Kapoor Khan, doing the signature hook step from the song and posting to social media.

The song is an official Remake of a song composed by artist Tony Montana.  In an interview, the producer of the movie, Sajid Nadiadwala, revealed it took the makers 6 months to get the Remake Rights of the song and further 2 months to get the required approval for the song’s lyrics.  Nadiadwala also revealed it took director Farhad Samjhi just 20 minutes to write the song’s lyrics. 

Directed by Farhad Samjhi, Housefull 4 is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Fox Star Studios.  The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde and Kriti Kharbanda in lead roles.  Housefull 4 is set to hit theaters on October 25th, 2019.
