Rajkummar Rao Draws Inspiration From Real Life For Made In China

Talented actor Rajkummar Rao is getting ready for his next release, Made In China.  According to reports, the actor drew inspiration from real life experiences for the movie, in an effort to make his character more relatable.

In a recent interview, the actor revealed, “Travelling abroad comes with its own set of challenges. I faced a major language problem. Even hailing a taxi and explaining to them where I wanted to go was extremely difficult. When Mikhil was narrating this sequence to me, I told him about my experiences. He felt that including it in the film for my character Raghu Mehta will make the scenario more relatable to me while performing as well as to the audience who would be watching it.”

The actor reportedly gained 8 kg for his role in the film and spent a month in Ahmedabad to learn the language and culture of the place.

Made in China is directed by Mikhil Musale and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films.  Apart from Rajkummar Rao, the movie also stars Mouni Roy, Boman Irani, Sumeet Vyas and Amyra Dastur in lead roles.  Made In China will be released on October 25th, 2019.
