After Amitabh Bachchan’s Twitter account was hacked by Ayyildiz Tim and recovered, singer-songwriter Adnan Sami’s handle was hacked on 11th June.

Just like it happened with Sr. Bachchan, the Turkish group changed Adnan Sami’s profile picture to that of Imran Khan’s and posted content favouring Pakistan.  “We would be happy to visit our brother country Pakistan and have a cup of tea with your esteemed Prime Minister. This will be a great opportunity to visit your country and meet our brothers. @ImranKhanPTI,” read one tweet.

Apart from tweeting pro Pakistan content, the group also changed Adnan Sami’s bio to read the following:  “Ayyıldız Tim Love Pakistan.” Unlike with Big B profile’s, the hackers took the hatred against India up a notch and pinned an extremely offensive tweet to the top of the page.

The same hackers who cracked Big B’s Twitter passwords were responsible for breaking into Adnan Sami’s account as well.  In fact, not only did they take responsibility for the attack, they even posted pictures of conversations where they reached out to people who were ready to support them.

The hackers then proceeded to post a screenshot from an Instagram conversation, wherein they were asking potential followers to help them out.  If this wasn’t enough, they then put out a tweet mocking Adnan Sami and his choices.

This is not the first time Bollywood celebrities have had their accounts hacked by this group. Last year, Shahid Kapoor’s and Anupam Kher’s accounts were hacked by the same group.  While Amitabh Bachchan’s account was restored in half an hour, the Mumbai Cyber Crime Department is still trying to recover Adnan Sami’s account.
