PLAYISM has shared the latest Silver Lining Studio game trailer, The Star Named EOS, featuring the voice actor Suzie Yeung from FFVII Remake and Rebirth.

The Star Named EOS has shared a new trailer from the INDIE Live Expo, announcing it will be launched this summer for PC (Via Steam, Epic Game Store, Humble Store, and GOG), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Alongside the announcement of the speculated release date and platforms it will be on, the trailer revealed Suzie Yeung, who is known for her role as Yuffie Kisaragi in Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth, will be voice acting as Dei’s mother. 

Following up on Silver Lining Studios’ Behind the Frame, The Star Named EOS is a story-driven puzzle game that utilizes photography. Ever since Dei was young, he received letters from his mother when she was travelling, each accompanied by a photograph from her current location. One day, Dei noticed something strange in one of the pictures his mother left behind, challenging everything he believed. Guided by his mother’s voice deep within him, Dei sets out to uncover the truth about his family, confront the past by recreating old photographs, and find a love that was long left unrealized.

Alongside The Star Named EOS’s new trailer, fans can be excited to hear Suzie Yeung will be lending her voice in the game as Dei’s mother, known for her previous work in Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth as Yuffie Kisaragi. But outside of Final Fantasy VII, she has voiced many more characters in huge-hitting video games and animes you may recognize! For video games, she has voice acted as Fuuka Yamagishi (Persona 3 Reload) and Chitose Fujinomiya (Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth), while for animes, she voice acted as Makima (Chainsaw Man), Ruka Rengoku and Amane Ubuyashiki (Demon Slayer).
