Epic Games pulled back the curtain on their end-of-season Fortnite OG event, and it will conclude with a Fortnite Big Bang featuring Eminem that is set to launch in early December.

Fortnite‘s next live event, the Fortnite Big Bang, is scheduled to take off on December 2, and the big name headlining the event is none other than Eminem. Despite leaking just yesterday, Epic Games wasted no time getting ahead of the leak to make an official announcement while the iron is hot, and fans can attend the event from anywhere globally (that supports Fortnite).

The Big Bang Event will close out the immensely popular Fortnite OG season, as November 7 (during the OG season) was reportedly the largest day in Fortnite‘s history, with over 44 million players jumping into the fight on that day. Starting on November 29, fans can snag one of three (or all three) Eminem-based skins to join Battle Royale and prove who the real Slim Shady is.

How to Join the Fortnite Big Bang Event

All fans have to do is fire up Fortnite on any device prior to the start time of the Fortnite Big Bang Event. Fans can equip any cosmetics they wish to attend the event, it is not a black-tie affair. After firing up the Battle Royale tab, sliding over to the Discover tab up to 30 minutes before the event starts will allow fans to jump into the event. Fortnite fans who wish to watch with friends can even bring along up to three (four party members total) to the party to attend together.

The Fortnite Big Bang Event takes place on December 2 at 2 p.m. EST at the end of the Fortnite OG season. Content creators who are looking to stream the event should head over to the official Fortnite Blog post for information on how to do that without breaking any of the event’s rules. It’s notable also, that Fortnite will undergo downtime for v28.00 starting at 11:30 p.m. EST on December 2, so fans should plan for the event accordingly.
