Fallout TV Series Stars Airing in Spring 2024 & Will Be Canon to Game Series

Tags: series fallout

More information was revealed yesterday about the upcoming Fallout TV series, including the official release date and the fact that the series will be canon to the game universe.

The impending Fallout TV series has now officially wrapped, according to a new press release revealed by Amazin Video. The announcement was made on the 26th anniversary of Fallout Day, and it’s surprising, seeing as how the latest information fans have on the TV series was numerous set photos leaking in the Summer of this year. In other news, for the post-apocalyptic series, Magic: The Gathering recently also pulled back the curtain on their latest Beyond Universes crossover, and it does involve a whole lot of Dogmeat. It’s been a big week for the Bethesda game series.

The TV series goes where the games have never gone, but surprisingly, Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores has Los Angeles, California. It has also been confirmed that the TV series will slot in officially with the video game lore, and follow the timeline the games do. This development means that with the return of the Super Duper Mart as seen in Fallout 3, there’s a sliver of a chance fans may even get the Galaxy News Radio treatment along with Three Dog. While that’s speculation, the possibility of the TV series bringing in exposition and world-building from the game series is almost certain. Bethesda’s Todd Howard is an Executive Producer on the series as well.

The running cast (according to the Amazon Video press release) is as follows “Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets), Walton Goggins (The Hateful Eight), Aaron Moten (Emancipation), Moisés Arias (The King of Staten Island), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Sarita Choudhury (Homeland), Michael Emerson (Person of Interest), Leslie Uggams (Deadpool), Frances Turner (The Boys), Dave Register (Heightened), Zach Cherry (Severance), Johnny Pemberton (Ant-Man), Rodrigo Luzzi (Dead Ringers), Annabel O’Hagan (Law & Order: SVU), and Xelia Mendes-Jones (The Wheel of Time).”

While nothing else has been given about the highly anticipated upcoming series, nuclear Fallout has been given a release date. Fans can tune in to watch the TV series on April 12, 2024. Fans can also find the rest of the press release on the Amazon website for more information.
