Today, Sony has announced Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition, the easiest and most cost-efficient way to play the second of Aloy’s adventures and the DLC in one neat package.
Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition follows the events directly after Horizon Zero Dawn, and sees the protagonist Aloy in a race against time before calamity strikes. CGMagazine’s review of the original title called it “much better than its predecessor, by a distance as great as the journey itself.” Today, fans have the opportunity to snag the second adventure and its DLC in a single complete purchase. PlayStation has even released a trailer to commemorate the release of the complete edition, and it can be watched below.

It’s safe to say if fans already have played the base game and Burning Shores DLC, not much extra has been added to the title besides the inclusion of the first comic series issue. However, if fans have been on the fence about joining in on Aloy’s second adventure, or seeing Los Angeles Horizon-ified in Burning Shores, this may be the edition to get in on the ground floor with.
