RazerCon 2023 – All Big Announcements In One Spot

One of the biggest companies in gaming peripherals, Razer, has pulled back the curtain on what’s next for the company during its annual showcase at RazerCon 2023.

Every year Razer delivers its annual showcase, RazerCon, to fans globally showcasing what they’re bringing to the table for the next 365 days. During their showcases, Razer has proven they focus on innovation, and the next step forward when it comes to technology peripherals. This includes PCs, gaming, and even innovative concept designs such as the Project Sophia Modular Desk revealed at the CES 2022 event. Razer goes the extra mile when it comes to innovation, and they brought the heat with them for RazerCon 2023.

RazerCon 2023 – Razer Huntsman V3 Pro line

Starting off, RazerCon 2023 pulled back the curtain on their upcoming Huntsman V3 Pro line of keyboards. Razer Analog Optical Switch Gen-2 powers the new wave of Huntsman V3, which adds a new level of responsiveness while gaming. The fully adjustable actuation ranges from 0.1 – 4.0 mm allow gamers to customize their actuation points for each key and set shallower actuation points for swifter keystrokes. The new Rapid Trigger Mode allows for a key to be reset the moment its pressed, letting gamers use it again instantly.

Pro VALORANT player for DRX and VCT Korea Champion 2022, Kim “stax” Gu-taek applauded the Huntsman V3 Pro saying “The responsiveness of this keyboard is incredible with Rapid Trigger and a lighter actuation force. It feels like the keyboard is a part of me.”

The Razer Huntsman V3 Pro is up for preorder now exclusively on the Razer website and Razer retail stores for $249.99 USD.

The Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Tenkeyless is also up for preorder on the Razer site for $219.99 USD.

RazerCon 2023 – The Razer Synapse

Next, Razer revealed new details for their software companion to Razer devices, the Synapse. Improving on the Synapse 3, Razer states “Razer Synapse boasts a fresh, multi-threaded architecture that’s up to 30% faster.” The interface has improved steadily over the past iterations and this latest update improves further with a compartmentalized approach to devices linked through Synapse, and a more streamlined interface for ease of use.

RazerCon 2023 – New Fujin & Fujin Pro Chair Line

Then, Razer revealed their latest gaming/office chair line, the Fujin and Fujin Pro. Both chairs ship with Razer’s ultra-breathable mesh material supporting the backrest, while the Pro boasts material aimed at keeping users cool during long hours of gaming (or work), the breathable mesh is made of Thermoplastic Elastomer, designed for optimal airflow and ventilation. The Fujin Pro includes a strong aluminum alloy frame as well as 4D padded armrests and a 3D Contoured Headrest, whereas the Fujin doesn’t include the headrest, and has 3D padded armrests for a significant price decrease. Both chairs notably feature Synchro-tilt Technology with a 130° Recline and a Height-adjustable Lumbar Support.

While the Fujin is available now from the Razer Website, the Fujin Pro will be released in Q4 2023. The Fujin will set users back $649.99, while the Pro will launch for a whopping $1,049.99.

RazerCon 2023 – Razer Aether Lights

Of course, RazerCon 2023 brought peripherals designated around signature Razer RGB lighting, but this time Razer wants to transform battle stations into immersive RGB entertainment centres. Introducing the new Razer Aether line, and leading the charge is the Raezr Aether Lamp Pro. The line features multi-zone lighting to elevate any entertainment experience with RGB effects. Tactile controls put the user in the command seat, allowing effortless adjustment and easy cycling through Chroma effects including overall brightness. The Razer Aether Lamp can work in tandem with the Pro, delivering both functional and aesthetically pleasing lighting.

Part of the Aether line revealed at RazerCon 2023 is the Razer Aether Light Bulb which can turn any light fixture into RGB lighting, adding flair and personality to gaming environments. Lastly, the Razer Aether Light Strip (available in a 2M length) allows users to further complement their gaming setup to accentuate room features. Razer thought of everything, so they also offer the Razer Aether Light Strip Extender (available in 1M) which offers additional usability for bigger spaces.

The Razer Gamer Room Mobile App (supporting all appliances backed by Matter) gives users complete control over the lighting in their space. Launching Q4 2023, the app allows for seamless integration and compatibility in smart home ecosystems, and best of all, works with voice assistants Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant seamlessly.

RazerCon 2023 – Collaboration Announcements

  • Razer is no slouch when it comes to collaborations, and this year they’ve unleashed an expensive one. Exclusively available in the USA, this limited-edition Razer Blade 16 features the signature Lamborghini Arancia Apodis orange and matte black finish to make a statement. an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU and the 13th Gen Intel Core i9 HX Processor power the Blade, proving that it’s not all looks. Fans can grab this extremely limited laptop for $4,999.99 USD, and there will only be 150 units ever made.
  • RazerCon 2023 announced yet another collaboration with the Dolce & Gabbana brand. This collaboration celebrates both the Razer and D&G brands while pedalling the essence of both industries, pushing the boundaries of style and technology. Headlining the collaboration is a limited Razer Enki chair, embossed with signature D&G branding. Only 1,337 of these Dolce&Gabbana | Razer Enki Pro – Chroma Edition chairs will be made, and the whole collection will be up for purchase in late Q4 2023.
