A loaded Nintendo Direct came out today to show what’s in store for Nintendo fans this coming season, and Nintendo brought many titles and announcements with them for fans to get excited over.

For what is likely the last Nintendo Direct of the year, Nintendo showed many of their remaining releases for the 2023 calendar, moving into 2024. While some of the trailers shown in the Direct have been announced before, like Warioware: Move It!, there was still a wealth of new announcements to stoke fan interest in Nintendo’s catalogue for the future. Fans can find each major Nintendo Direct announcement trailer below, as well as the other announcements.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong

The Mario vs. Donkey Kong series returns in what appears to be a remake of the GBA exclusive title from 2004. Fans will have Mario solve puzzles to get exclusive Mario wind-up toys back from Donkey Kong in this remake, which releases on February 16, 2024.

Princess Peach: Showtime!

The previously teased Princess Peach game has been given a trailer and a title, as Princess Peach: Showtime! takes the stage. Princess Peach will have to transform and use new powers to fend off the sour bunch to save the show. Take the stage as Peach on March 22, 2024.

F-Zero 99

In the same vein as Tetris 99 or Super Mario 99, Nintendo Direct September 2023 unveiled an F-Zero 99 based on the original F-Zero title. Fans will have to race against each other on the original F-Zero tracks in order to remain the last player out of the starting pool of 99, whoever is the last racer remaining wins. F-Zero 99 is free and available to download later today.

SPYxANYA: Operation Memories

A video game based on the popular anime series SPYxFAMILY was announced at the Nintendo Direct in September 2023, and it enters the POV of Anya. Fans will have to complete a photo diary for homework by living their daily life while running into the cast of characters from the hit series. SPYxANYA: Operation Memories launches at a TBA date next year.

• Contra: Operation Galuga was announced and will release in early 2024.
• Unicorn Overlord was announced, and it releases on March 8, 2024.
• Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon HD comes to Nintendo Switch in Summer 2024.
• Zelda and Ganondorf Tears of the Kingdom amiibo will release on November 3,
• Xenoblade Chronicles 3 amiibo for Noah and Mio come out on January 19,
• Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Sora amiibo will release at a later date.
• Warioware: Move It! got a new spot on the rapid-fire announcement segment, gameplay is like Smooth Moves.
• Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story was announced, will release in 2024.
• Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story will release on November 1.
• Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes launches on Nintendo Switch on April 23, 2024.
• Eastward Octopia DLC was announced and will release “this Holiday Season”.
• Wargroove 2 releases as a Nintendo Switch console exclusive on October 5.
• Dave the Diver releases on Nintendo Switch on October 26.
• Wave 6 (and the final wave) of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Booster Course Pass DLC adds Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, Pauline, and Peachette this Holiday Season.
• A new map for Among Us has been revealed for Nintendo Switch called The Fungle.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

The Nintendo Direct finished off with the remaster announcement of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, which doesn’t have a set-in-stone release date, but it has been revealed to launch in 2024.
