Xbox is returning to the TGS, and the plan for Tokyo Game Show 2023 is another Digital Broadcast to showcase and highlight what’s in store for Xbox moving on to the rest of the year and into 2024.

The Xbox presence at the Tokyo Game Show has always produced exciting results, with last year’s reveal of the previously off-Xbox series Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony Anniversary Edition and Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered coming to Xbox Game Pass. The Tokyo Game Show has also been home to previous Xbox reveals such as the Xbox Game Pass release of Scarlet Nexus, and Ai: The Somnium Files in 2021.

The Tokyo Game Show 2023 is aiming to shoot higher, as Xbox has announced their Digital Broadcast today on the official Xbox website. Xbox fans can tune in to hear progress updates from Xbox and Bethesda Softworks, while also being treated to a swath of games from creators located in Japan and across Asia that you may otherwise never hear of.

Usually, Xbox goes all-in with their Xbox Game Pass subscription, so fans will likely see a few big titles make their way to Xbox Game Pass in the show’s runtime. Chief Marketing Officer at Xbox, Jerret West said “We’ll also share exciting new games coming to Xbox Game Pass, which continues to grow with great content from teams all around Asia” with the expectation that fans can “see a creatively diverse collection of games from creators predominantly located in Japan and across Asia” regarding the prominence of the Tokyo Game Show 2023.

The Tokyo Game Show 2023 Xbox Digital Broadcast will run on September 22, 5 a.m. EST so fans will have to wake up bright and early (or stay awake all night) to watch the broadcast live. Fans can watch the broadcast from the official TGS2023 YouTube channel for all of the show’s big announcements.
