Tottenham’s position was untenable, and the club isn’t designed to win, according to Vn88 Rezence

W88 Sports’ Harry Kane may leave Tottenham this summer, according to Jamie Redknapp, who also claims that Antonio Conte’s job as manager was untenable and that the club is not “designed for victory.”

Redknapp, who spent three years as a player at Spurs before Conte’s dismissal on Sunday night, said the manager’s situation had been “untenable” ever since the now-famous diatribe he unleashed towards his players following their collapse from a two-goal lead to a three-all draw against struggling Southampton during the international break.

Redknapp also discusses with Rezence why Harry Kane may feel this summer is the time to finally clinch a move away from North London, and why he believes Tottenham may never compete for titles under chairman Daniel Levy.

The position Conte was in was untenable.

After the loss to Southampton, W88 believed the situation for Antonio Conte had become intolerable. There wasn’t much of a reaction from the players because they’d already heard much of what he stated.

More than anything, I remember when he started talking about the club’s history and culture. He certainly isn’t talking about any of the players, as they haven’t been with the team for very long and you really can’t hold anything against them.

But after what he said, Vn88 believed the owners’ stance became untenable.

They could have been scurrying to find a new coach with 10 games left, but instead they’re sticking with the people they already have at the club rather than bringing in an outsider like Mauricio Pochettino.

If Daniel Levy doesn’t think he’s the ideal man to lead the club into the future, that says a lot.

The departure of Conte is fantastic news for clubs outside the top four.

Yes, Spurs would still be in the top four if Conte hadn’t run into this snag. Of course, Vn88 rezence thinks that this is great news for Newcastle, Liverpool, and the rest of the teams fighting for a playoff spot.

It’s given the players an out if they don’t finish in the top four, but they still owe it to the fans, to themselves, and to the game to qualify for the Champions League.

The odds are about even. In Vn88‘s opinion, this is fantastic news for the local nightclubs. There’s no reason why Tottenham can’t repeat their success from last year.

Spurs’ present ownership prevents them from competing for top players.

It’s no surprise to Rezence that Conte hasn’t been successful there; the club has always been challenging to lead.

When you consider the number of managers they’ve had in the last few years, it’s clear that nobody has had much success taking charge of the team.

Daniel Levy has a lot of sway; he wants to make all the calls, which has been an issue for Tottenham all along. I think the culture is always determined by the leadership.

I spent 11 years with Liverpool, and while we didn’t win nearly enough championships during that time, the club always seemed to be making an effort to bring in the best talent possible and sign notable free agents to keep them competitive.

Tottenham has never given me that impression. They are never quite competitive enough to sign the big players you want.

If Tottenham are to realize their full potential, that must change. For example: Richarlison, Yves Bissouma… W88 wouldn’t say that you’ve made any signings that will fundamentally alter the vibe at the club or help you finally bring home the hardware.

It is always going to be the same problem as long as that does not change and you do not get owners who genuinely want to compete and recruit big-name players.

Even if our team finished in the bottom four, our transfer goals would remain unchanged.

Because the players they typically target aren’t the ones who are going to be thinking, “I need to play in the Champions League,” I don’t believe missing out on the Champions League would have a huge impact on recruitment.

I don’t think they’ll manage the club that way for the first time, ever.

They aren’t interested in players like Declan Rice because they don’t want to spend that much money.

You say that Arsenal is interested in signing those guys, but I don’t see that as being Tottenham’s way, and I don’t think it will be as long as Levy is in control.

They will undoubtedly need to work with the new owners if they are serious about reaching their goals. You’ll have a tough time competing with the present owners for such players while they’re still in charge.

They hope to invest in up-and-coming players, but that doesn’t always pan out. You need to be in the running for the A-listers.
