Jack Tworkov was an Abstract Expressionist artist, part of the original group.  Because his work changed and moved away from the AbEx artists, he might have been overlooked. His move to geometric forms speaks to the direction that the last Modern art movement was heading, that of minimalist art. He never reached that point, but he sure came close.
