Sri Lanka beat Zimbabwe in first T20i

Sri Lanka Beat Zimbabwe by 3 wickets in the first T20 match played at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

Chasing the target of 143 score set by the Chevrons, Sri Lanka team led by Wanindu Hasaranga posted 144/7 in a last ball thriller at the end of 20 overs.

Angelo Mathews registered 46 for Sri Lanka’s side in 38 deliveries, while Dasun Shanaka, the unlucky bowler on the second occasion during the first innings, helped Sri Lanka’s total score with 26 runs in 18 deliveries.
    
Captain Sikandar Raza picked up 03 wickets for 13. Blessing Muzarabani bagged 02 wickets for 33.

Chevrons’captain Raza also posted his 13th half-century in T20 internationals, fighting a lone battle to help his side post a competitive total during the first innings.
