The Ministry of Finance has informed companies engaged in development projects that payments will be delayed for five years.

Currently, a number of major development projects, including expressways, are being carried out by several local and foreign companies.
The government has decided to delay these payments as the country's economy is hit by the Covid-19 epidemic.

This decision will initially have an affect on foreign companies, reports say.
