LG’s first 3D Blu-ray player, the BX580 is priced very reasonably at $399.99. Reasonable given that the BX580 is Full HD Blu-ray 3D compatible, comes with NetCast Entertainment Access for online streaming content, built-in 802.11n high-speed Wi-Fi, DLNA compatible for streaming data from your computer, BD compatible -Live and of course it can play ordinary Blu-ray and DVD discs.

The BDX580 has internal audio decoding for Linear PCM, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS. Unfortunately, there are no 7.1 multichannel analog outputs. An audio/video receiver with an HDMI input is required to decode the high resolution surround sound found on Blu-ray movies.
