Seeta was born on 6th April 1983 in Kabul, Afghanistan. When she was very young due to the civil war, she has to leave the country & she moved to Pakistan for a short stay. There she was married to a much older man at the very young age of 15 but the man was already married. She suffered a lot in that marriage because her husband was abusive & she divorced him. She has two children now & she is living in Germany.
Taking about her singing career, she started singing in small parties where she met Valy Hedjasi who was a cameraman. Both of them collaborated on 'Bia Tu' and 'Dilbare Mehrabanam' but it was sung, composed & written by Seeta only. But she didn't get credit for both the songs & she was also not shown in the videos. After that, she launched her own single 'Ba Taswiram' which made her a known face.
Her first big success came from the song called 'Dukhtare Kuchi' & then another song came known as 'Mastam Mast' which was also a success. Then she collaborated with Shafiq Mureed in the song 'Ta Sara Meena Larem' which was highly appreciated by Afghan people & she became a sensation in Afghanistan. She did few more songs and her journey is still continuing
