Rahul Sipligunj was born in Mangalhat, Hyderabad, India on 10th June 1989. He completed his intermediate from the Narayana College, Himayathnagar, Hyderabad, India. After doing intermediate she completed his graduation in 2012. His father is the first one who saw the talent of singing in him who owns a saloon. His father once heard him singing a popular Hyderabadi song Maayadaari Maisamma using the kitchen tools. He took him to Pandit Vithal Rao to train him where he trained for 4 years in Indian classical singing.

He sang his first song for a movie called Josh a Telugu film at the very young age of 20 in the year 2009. This song became hit and now every big composer of Telugu industry wanted to work with him and he sang many songs after that. One of his most famous movie songs is Ranga Ranga Rangasthalana for the movie Rangasthalam. Few more hit songs given by him are Bombhaat, Racha, Pedda Puli, Eaga, Dammu, Vaastu Baagundhi, Iraga Iraga.

During an interview, the 28-year-old said, "Keeravani included me in his team after hearing my songs in Snehithuda and Josh. Though I would have been thrilled with even chorus assignments, he pushed my limits with many solo numbers. Chorus numbers can also be tricky as matching your co-singers at every step is no easy task." He is continuously growing as an artist and he says he will release more singles.
