The Reason Behind Sridevi’s Death is Really Shocking.

Everybody who has come into this world has to go one day, it is quite true but who knew that waking up on the Sunday morning will give us the biggest shock of our lives.  It is very sad and unsinkable feeling that the chandani of Bollywood, the gorgeous evergreen beauty Sridevi is no longer with us.

Reports state that Sridevi died due to “accidental drowning” on Saturday night in a hotel room at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai, where she had gone for a family wedding of Mohit Marwaha and Antara Motiwala.

Sridevi was accompanied by her husband Boney Kapoor and younger daughter Khushi Kapoor as they left for Dubai on February for the wedding.

While Boney Kapoor and Khushi came back to Mumbai, Sridevi decided to stay back in Dubai to spend some time with her family. It was reported that Boney Kapoor flew back to Dubai on 24th February to be with his wife. There he did not knew that these will be last few hours he will be spending with his wife.

Sridevi was found unconscious in her hotel bathroom, when her husband took her to Rashid hospital in Dubai, where she was declared dead. The whole family and the Bollywood film fraternity is mourning for her sudden death as it is a very big loss. It was Sanjay Kapoor, who confirmed the news first about Sridevi’s sudden demise.

Well we can take it as a coincidence or plans of God, that earlier when Arjun Kapoor was about to make his Bollywood debut his mother Mona Kapoor, Boney Kapoor’s first wife died, and now when Khushi is about to make her Bollywood debut God has done the same.

Here we want to share some of the known and unknown facts about Sridevi, why she was known as the Diva of Bollywood

  1. Sridevi started her acting career at a very young age when she was only 4 yrs. old, with M. A. Thirumugam’s 1969 devotional film “Thunaivan”
  2. She became Bollywood sensation in 1983, when her movie “Himmatwala” opposite Jeetendra released and was the biggest blockbuster of the year.
  3. Apart from her superb acting skills, Sridevi did playback singing for films like “Chadini”, “Sadma”, “Garajna”, “Kshnakshanam”
  4. Sridevi once got an offer from Hollywood biggest director Steven Spielberg to play a role in “Jurassic Park” but she turned down as she was busy with her Bollywood projects.
  5. Sridevi was very passionate for acting because when she shot the song, “Na Jaane Kaha Se Aayi” in Chalbaaz, she was suffering with 103-degree fever.
  6. Sridevi’s On Screen Jodi with Jeetendra was a hit as they acted in 16 films together.
  7. Sridevi’s last public appearance was for “Umang” Show where was seen with her husband Boney Kapoor. On public request she had even given a short dance performance.
  8. Sridevi was awarded with Padma Shri, India’s fourth highest civilian award from the Government of India in year 2013
  9. Sridevi was also voted ‘India’s Greatest Actress in 100 Years’ in a CNN-IBN national poll conducted in 2013 on the occasion of the centenary of Indian cinema.

After having so many awards and recognition from the film fraternity and government, Sridevi was a very down to earth person and has never got her stardom come her way. Since the news has broken up, the entire film industry is sharing the feelings on social media platforms mourning about her death.

We can say that God must be in need of Angels, that’s why he has taken Sridevi away from us at a very early time. Her place can never be taken or fulfilled by anyone else. You will be deeply missed Sri Mam. May your soul R.I.P
