The Bollywood National Award Winning Actor Akshay Kumar upcoming film GOLD Movie Teaser Released by the makers. One-minute-long clip of Gold Teaser also features Akshay Kumar in a never-seen-before avatar of a Bengali who is madly in love with hockey and madly in love with his country. Cashing in on the patriotic sentiment of the country, Gold Movie will release on Independence Day 2018.

This Glod Film is Directed by Reema Kagti and also features Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar and Mouni Roy in the lead roles. Shooting for the film wrapped up in December last year. The film is based on the true incidents of India’s first Olympic gold as a free nation in 1948 in the sport of hockey. The ‘Rustom’ actor can be seen essaying the role of a hockey coach in the film.

It was reported that former Indian national team captain, Sandeep Singh, was signed to train the actors to improve their hockey skills and a lot of the shooting has been done in Yorkshire and the Midlands in England.
