Ariana Grande becomes the first artist to occupy top 3 positions on the Billboard Hot 100 chart since The Beatles did it in 1964

Ariana Grande has become the first artist to occupy the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 positions simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart since The Beatles did it in 1964.

Grande did it with her singles "7 Rings," "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored," and "Thank U, Next" respectively.

She also broke the record for the most simultaneous top 40 Billboard Hot 100 hits by a female artist, charting 11. All 12 of the album's songs have hit the charts, with one falling short of making the top 40.
Grande is just the second act in the Hot 100's 60-year history to monopolize the top three in a week. The Beatles earned the honor for five weeks in March and April 1964, even claiming the entire top five on the April 4, 1964-dated chart.

Here's where Grande's songs are ranking as of the survey dated February 23:
No. 1, "7 Rings"
No. 2, "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored"
No. 3, "Thank U, Next"
No. 14, "Needy"
No. 17, "NASA"
No. 21, "Imagine"
No. 22, "Bloodline"
No. 25, "Ghostin"
No. 26, "Fake Smile"
No. 27, "Bad Idea"
No. 38, "In My Head"
No. 48, "Make Up"
Grande tweeted her reaction to the news she had tied the Beatles record with "wait what."
