10 Ethereal Destinations That Are Heaven On Earth

Some places on the earth are no less than heaven is not an exaggerated statement. In fact, in all honesty, there are many destinations around the world that feel like fairyland. We are talking about the kinds of places that are often taken as inspirations for movies, shows, anime, cartoons, and whatnot. It might look like they can only exist in a fictional world, but in actuality, we do have some real, soul-searching destinations in the world that will make your day in a hundred different ways. So, without wasting further time, let’s take a look at these top 10 ethereal destinations that are heaven on earth.

Grand Prismatic Spring, USA

Grand Prismatic Spring is the largest spring in the US. And it is the third-largest in the entire world! So right from the start, you know you are visiting a place that is special in many ways. The spring is in the Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, and will captivate you with your bright colors the moment you set your eyes on it. The spring somewhat looks like a crystal from far away, so those pictures are gonna break your IG update. Surely a must-visit.

The Wave, USA

With a name like that, you know the place is not kidding when it comes to natural beauty. But hold on, it has nothing to do with some beach, ocean, or sea. It actually is a natural rock formation that is too beautiful to be real. You know the place is something when you see it dominate the Windows wallpaper for at least a decade or so. The wave is in Arizona, USA, and reaching here is no less than a task. They only allow 20 people per day and reaching this location itself is a lot of work.

The USA sure has a lot of places that are too good to be real. Also, what is up with some unnatural-looking beautiful rocks and Arizona? It is the second place on this list which is in Arizona. Antelope Canyon is a beautiful natural rock formation that will puzzle your mind for a minute through its beauty and the rock formation itself. The place is only a few miles away from The Wave. And it is a total competition, we swear. It can be visited only with the help of organized tour authorities, but surely worth your money.

Marble Caves, Patagonia

The place has the term cave in it. Of course, it’s too beautiful to not visit or ignore. Marble Caves in Patagonia are in the center of a lake and offer some marvelous geographical formations to visit. Nature is surely one of the best creators. And this one is a fine example of the same. The caves have been carved by water for more than 6000 years, which gives the place a look that can be seen nowhere else. It can only be reached by boat so get ready for that too.

Door to Hell, Turkmenistan

Heaven on earth? We bite our tongue.

The place literally looks like a door to hell. But guess what? It also looks like one of the most beautiful places to watch, definitely not to be in, however. It is also known as Daravaza Crater. The crater was formed in 1971 when a cave was collapsed by a natural gas field. The place was set on fire so that methane won’t spread. But to our horror, the place is still burning. But it sure looks beautiful.

Tiger’s Nest Monastery, Bhutan

Enough of rocks and burning pits for now. Let’s take a look at some cliffs now. Tiger’s Nest Monastery or Paro Taktsang in Bhutan is the perfect spot for adventure lovers as well. It is monetary that was constructed in the 17th century at the side of a cliff! However, a fire destroyed most of it in 1998. But the monastery was eventually restored in 2005, and the site is all ready to amaze you once again.

Meteora, Greece

Meteora monasteries set on a mountain top are one of the most preached religious sites in Greece. The place is absolutely stunning and was actually established between the 14th to 19th centuries. 24 monasteries in total were constructed here. However, only six of them are still well at present. The place will surely mesmerize you with its purity, and the views are something that you won’t be forgetting anytime soon.

Cappadocia, Turkey

This place in Turkey can offer much more than just some mind-blowing views. The destination is famous for its beauty, religious value, and historic significance. On top of that, it also offers hot air balloon rides that are quite famous, to begin with. It is full of rock-carved churches and chapels, some of which date back to the 9th century. Not to forget the beautiful pictures that this destination can provide!

Vagar, Faroe Islands

Believe it or not, Vagar is a beautiful island that comprises three waterfalls, forty-one mountains, and four lakes! Yes, let that sink in. And we know you already know that the place is a visual bliss by just the description that we gave above. Vagar is one of the 10 islands known as the Faroe Islands. It is also the airport of the Faroe Islands, and the place is something that you cannot and should not miss.

Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany

If fairytales were real, this would have been a castle for their kings and queens. But that does not change the fact that the castle still looks straight out of a fairytale. It truly is heaven on earth. It was built in 1886, and since then, it has always been a treat to the eyes. The castle is not only stunning to look at from afar, but the overall surrounding of this beauty is equally commendable. A sure visit for the people who love such fantasy-inspired lands.

These were some of the most beautiful and surreal places around the world that you must visit at least once. Each of them is a treat to the eye. We belive they are heaven on earth. Do you?
