This adventure fantasy anime series, directed by Kōnosuke Uda, is based on the Japanese shōnen manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. The anime revolves around the adventures of a boy named Monkey D. Luffy, whose body gained the properties of rubber after unintentionally eating a Devil Fruit. One piece is considered as a must-watch for the fans of Naruto as it is one of the top animes in the Shonen Jump lineup.

Soul Eater

This 51-episode anime series is an adaptation of the Japanese Manga Series written and illustrated by Atsushi Ōkubo. The series is directed by Takuya Igarashi and produced by Bones, Aniplex, Dentsu, Media Factory, and TV Tokyo. Soul Eater is much similar to Naruto with the three powerful young teams, each consisting of a weapon meister and weapon that can transform into a humanoid, who learn to control their powers at school. Fairy Tail

The anime adaptation of the Japanese manga series, written and illustrated by Hiro Mashima, is produced by A-1 Pictures, Dentsu Entertainment, and Satelight. The action anime series is similar to Naruto as it shares the same atmosphere, fight scenes, and comedic moments. The anime is set in the fantasy land of Fiore where Earth is inhabited by magic guilds, with each possessing their significant abilities. The story follows a powerful fire mage named Natsu Dragneel of the Fairy Tail guild who is on the search for his adoptive father, the dragon Igneel.

Inuyasha

The anime adaptation of the Japanese manga series, written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi, is another anime about a half-demon protagonist who lives in a fantasized interpretation of ancient Japan. The story follows Kagome Higurashi, a 15-year-old girl, who is shifted from modern-day life to the Sengoku period of Japan by a ferocious demon. The demon is after the wish-granting Shikon Jewel that lies inside her. Kagome resurrects a half-demon named Inuyasha to defeat the demon and save her. As the Shikon Jewel get shattered in pieces and is scattered across the land, Kagome and Inuyasha set off to retrieve the pieces before it gets in the wrong hands.

Yu Yu Hakusho

The anime adaptation of the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi is directed by Noriyuki Abe and co-produced by Fuji Television, Yomiko Advertising, and Studio Pierrot. The story follows Yusuke Urameshi, a 14-year-old boy who is struck and killed by a car while trying to save a child’s life. Yusuke is revived and appointed as an Underworld Detective after he passes several tests given by Koenma, who is the son of the ruler of the afterlife Underworld. The series is much like Naruto as the fateful day changes the life of Yusuke Urameshi.

Katanagatari

The anime adaptation of the Japanese light novel series, written by Nisio Isin and illustrated by Take, is similar to Naruto with its cool ninja action. The series which is set in Japan’s Edo-era follows Shichika Yasuri who lives with his sister Nanami in isolation. The series is as exciting as Naruto with a lot of ninjas and various fighting techniques. The series is a must-watch for those who love anime with good animation and ninja theme. The anime also has some of the background music that you are familiar with in the fight scenes in Naruto.

Dragonball Z Kai

The revised version of the anime series Dragon Ball Z, produced in commemoration of its 20th and 25th anniversaries, is another anime like Naruto packed with insane action fights. The story follows Goku, a self-trained martial arts prodigy from a distant planet who has become one of the most powerful beings on Earth. Dragonball Z Kai, which is a popular shounen anime, has the fanciest and fast forward fights with ridiculous abilities and powers similar to that in Naruto.

Blue Exorcist

The anime adaption for the Japanese manga series, written and illustrated by Kazue Katō, will remind you of Naruto with its main characters. The character of Rin is much similar to Naruto for helping others and saving them from harm, despite being born differently and ridiculed by others. The anime is similar to Naruto, as Rin also studies in a school to learn to control his inner demon over time and going on missions. Mushibugyo

The anime adaptation of the Japanese manga series, written and illustrated by Hiroshi Fukuda, is set in the Feudal Japan where the people are plagued with giant insects that terrorize the city. The story follows a samurai swordsman name Jinbei Tsukishima, who travels to Edo to join the Insect Magistrate Office warriors to eliminate these creatures on behalf of his father. The series is regarded as a samurai counterpart of Naruto while the main characters of both the anime struggle in becoming something like recognition.
