Earlier in October Robot Sophia has been granted a citizenship by the country of Saudi Arabia. In doing this, they have also become the first country to give a robot, citizenship. The move was aimed at promoting Saudi Arabia as a scientifically advanced society, working towards developing Artificial Intelligence improvements.
