About Nikita Thukral Career
Thukral was born in a Punjabi family and was raised in Mumbai. She completed her M.A in economics at Kishinchand Chellaram College. She was spotted by producer D. Ramanaidu eating at a Juhu hotel. He offered her a role in her upcoming film Hai (2002).
After appearing at Hai, Thukral played before Fahad Fazil in his debut at the Kaiyethum Doorath cinema. Malayalam's film was not a box office hit, but she was able to find additional roles in Tamil and Telugu films like Kurumbu and Sambaram. In 2005, she entered the Kannada cinema with Maharaja S S Niwas. Thukral then returned to the spotlight in a Tamil film and featured in Venkat Prabhu's Saroja multi-star orchestra such as Kalyani, the muse of a gangster represented by Sampath Raj, and won critical acclaim for his performance . His appearance in the song "Kodana Kodi" was appreciated as the song became popular, while his role in the film also earned him the ITFA Best Supporting Actress Award. Success led him to sign up to appear in a major film production, Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikaalam by Gautham Menon in a role next to Trisha Krishnan, but the film was suspended after two schedules.
