15 Years In Film Industry : Trisha Krishnan






Trisha Krishnan is not a new name in the South Film industry. This actress began her career with an uncredited role in the movie Jodi, in 1999. She became a leading actress with her first Tamil film, Mounam Pesiyadhe in the year 2002. Today, December 13, 2017, Trisha has successfully completed 15 years in the industry!In 2003, she continued to make 5 Tamil films, including a bilingual titled Ennaku 20, Unnaku 18. This film was released in Telugu as Nee Manasu Naku Telusu, which was her first film in Tollywood. In 2004, she was seen in the movie Varsham in front of Prabhas. For this film, she received the Filmfare Award for Best Actress - Telugu. In 2005, she received another Filmfare Award for Best Actress - Telugu for her performance in Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana.

Since then she has continued to do many Telugu and Tamil films and has been established as one of the South's best actresses of the time. Her debut in Hindi was with the film Khatta Meetha in 2010 for which she was also nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut! After juggling between Tollywood and Kollywood for a few years as the first actress, she made her Kannada debut with Power in 2014.Trisha is currently shooting for 6 films in 2017! Hey Jude would mark his debut in Malayalam while 1818 will be published in both Tamil and Telugu languages. The other 4 films are all in the Tamil language
