Weekends are the biggest stress busters to us! It was a few months ago when we planned to go for a weekend getaway that was within our budget. Hill stations were our choice but it was a big NO to Ooty, Kodaikanal, Nandi hills. After browsing on the web and taking inputs from friends, we decided to visit Skandagiri Hills.

Are you a fitness freak? Or, do you love to trek? Skandagiri hills, a place rich in spiritual heritage, allows you to do some exercise and shed a few pounds before you reach your destination. Take permission from the forest guard and start your trek. Guess what? You feel like you’re in the Himalayas as you trek higher and higher. All you need is a good pair of shoes and water bottles to hydrate yourself during the trek.
Note: You can trek from as early as 4 am and park your vehicle at the starting point.
