Looks like the movie Genius is a secret treasure chest of good music after all. Having swooned music lovers with the soulful Arijit Singh track Tera Fitoor, another song from the movie is now here to stay in the hearts of the listeners. Titled Tujhse Kahan Juda Hoon Main, the song was released just yesterday from the official YouTube channel of the record label Tips. And even before 24 hours, the video has hit 1.5 million views and counting and is trending at number 6 in India.

Most of the song has been rendered beautifully by Neeti Mohan and Vineet Singh but the most notable part of the track is the refrain that has been sung by Himesh Reshammiya, marking his comeback into the field of singing after quite a long hiatus. The song’s lyrics have been penned by Shabbir Ahmed and the composition has been made by Himesh Reshammiya. Both the lyrics and the music go hand in hand to create a song that is equal parts romantic and intense. The production of the song has been done very efficiently by Aditya Dev to hold up the general feeling of the track.

The music video features Utkarsh Sharma and Ishita Chauhan, the lead pair of the movie. The visuals are picturesque and the wide shots along with the aerial shots add to the grandeur of the aesthetics of the video. The two fresh faces are seen romancing with beautiful backdrops, while a sneak peek into one scene or two plays very briefly at the beginning of the music video. Apart from YouTube, the song is also available on other streaming platforms like Saavn, Gaana, and iTunes.

Directed by Anil Sharma, Genius is an action thriller film that released on 24th August and so far, has earned a box office collection of 4.28 crore. The lead actor of the movie Utkarsh Sharma is actually the son of the director and was also featured as a child actor in the 2001 blockbuster movie Gadar – Ek Prem Katha.

The film has been grabbing eyeballs mostly because of the music, that has been composed by both Himesh Reshammiya and Monty Sharma, the latter, best known for his work in the 2007 Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie Saawariya.
