2018 marks ten years since Iron Man and the start of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Iron Man that was released in 2008 became the superhero film that launched a thousand other superhero films!

Marvel is kicking off its year-long tenth-anniversary celebrations with an with an iconic Photo featuring all of your favorite superheroes and the filmmakers in one place. A group of more than 80 actors and filmmakers all came together in secret in Atlanta, Georgia, on the set of Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” to memorialize the last ten years with a photo in October last year.

The photo marks the beginning of Marvel’s anniversary events, with plans to offer up exclusive products and collectibles, as well as events and social media sweepstakes for fans to get involved in.

While the photo has all the Marvel Superheroes we’ve watched and loved, also present in the photo are superheroes we have yet to meet, like Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, which is due in 2019, and also the franchise’s filmmakers, from Guardians of the Galaxy’s James Gunn to Thor: Ragnarok’s Taika Waititi.
