With more and more singers emerging in Bollywood, it’s hard to remember everything about every new Singer that enters the industry. One of these emerging singers is, Bhavya Pandit. You may not remember her within a second, but if I mention the Song “Rani Tu Mai Raja” from the movie Son Of Sardar, then you’re sure to recall her name!

Bhavya Pandit is a born singer. She was only 5 when her parents recognized her phenomenal voice. She made a record for herself by getting selected in the Top 6 of contestants of the Indian Idol in 2009-10.

Bhavya Pandit is one of the most socially active playback singers. FYI, people, Bhavya is the only Indian child to be honored with National Balashree Award. This award is given to those children with ‘creative achievement’. Late Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam handed over this award to her.

Bhavya made her debut in Bollywood’s music industry by giving her voice to Aaja Lehraate from the movie What’s Your Raashee? Which was directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. She also sang a Punjabi song with Mika Singh for the movie ‘Lucky Kabootar’. She rose to fame when Himesh Reshammiya gave her a chance to sing ‘Rani Tu Mai Raja’ for Ajay Devgan starrer, Son Of Sardar.

Na Jeo Na / O Sajna

This song of hers is a mix of two songs, Na Jeo Na and O Sajna, in which former is a Bengali song and latter is a Hindi song. Originally the song was sung by Lata Mangeshkar.

Rim Jhim Gire Sawan

This song was originally sung by Kishore Kumar, and music by R.D Burman and lyrics were written by Yogesh Gaur. Bhavya’s voice gave that song a whole new life to it. Her voice made that song a monsoon touch to it, which gave complete justice to the song.
