Akshay Kumar’s brother in law Karan Kapadia is all set to make his big screen debut. Karan is Akshay’s wife and former actress Twinkle Khanna’s cousin. Karan will make his debut this year with an yet to be titled film.

It is said that Karan and Twinkle share a very close bond and Karan is also very close to his brother in law Akshay. The family is excited about his debut and looking forward to seeing him on the big screen. Karan is the son of late actress Simple Kapadia, who was Twinkle’s actress mom, Dimple Kapadia’s younger sister.

Karan who learnt acting at the Jeff Goldberg Studio says, “I’ve learnt to ride a horse and the bike, I’ve been swimming and I trained in martial arts for six months in Bangkok.” Which is impressive knowing he once weighed 112 kg! He shed his weight with a dedicated fitness regime and healthy eating.

The film will be directed by Behzad Khambata and produced by Tony Dsouza and Vishal Rana.Akshay shares a close association with D’Souza – the two have worked together on two films, Blue and Boss and it was while Karan was an assistant on Boss that D’Souza spotted his potential.
