Big Brother Naija 2017 ex-housemate, Gifty, who shared photos on set a movie shoot in Lagos with colleague, Anita Joseph, was dragged into an exchange with a follower.
The reality show star’s follower, who asked why she always covers her stomach in photos following the pregnancy rumour tagged to her, got a ‘savage’ reply from Gifty.
‘Auntie gifty Mrs cover cover.y do u always cover ur tummy?’
Replying him, Gifty wrote; ‘@binahbonieii granny, I’m covering my fresh eggs from demons like you. U touch, u fall’.
Recall that Gifty fueled pregnancy rumour, after photos from an event she stepped out for in Lagos in December surfaced, a pregnancy which was linked to Mr 2Kay.
The two had once being a couple and had traded subliminals on social media. 2kay himself went on a television show where he blamed the ‘horoscope for his failed relationship with Gifty The actress had to announce on Instagram that Canadian rapper Drake, is the only one she wants to be pregnant for.
Rocking an oversized black top in the photo, Gifty posed alongside former housemate Uriel with her leg crossed to avoid giving up a glimpse of her mid region.
However on BBNaija’s reunion show hosted by Ebuka, Gifty finally cleared the air, disclosing that she is NOT PREGNANT! The Host of the show, Ebuka urged her to clear the air, and asked her point-blank if she was pregnant or not.. and she’s confirmed on the show that she is really not pregnant.
She also confirmed that she’s not in any relationship whatsoever.
Recall also that Gifty refuted claims that Mr 2kay helped her to rise in the industry.
“This is serious . Firstly, I want to clear the air on what was said. God Almighty alone made me who I am today. Many years ago after my step-dad passed away, God gave me the kind of strength that I had never felt before in my life. He shamed those who thought I wouldn’t make it in life.
Secondly, major kudos goes to my mum. She has been my strength all through my life. A widow supporting four kids isn’t a joke; she is my inspiration.
And about what that person (Mr 2kay) said; well, I will not say anything for now because his matter is not relevant to me. My only joy right now is how God has supported me so far in building a strong foundation for my future” she said.
