  1. Sleeping on Your Stomach or by Side

There are many sleep positions out there but, sleeping on your stomach will show the worst consequences on your skin. Sleeping on your stomach leads to wrinkles. While sleeping like that you place your face directly on the pillow, which causes friction between the pillow and your skin. Research shows that stomach sleepers often are more prone to forehead lines that can’t even cure through heavy retinol.

Sleeping in the side position also cause the second-worst damage to your skin. Side sleepers often complain about the deeper wrinkles or creases on the side of their face as well as vertical creases down their chin and cheeks.

So, try to sleep on your back, and if you’re one of them who sleeping on their backside then be sure to keep your head elevated. If you’re sleeping in a flat position then it will allow the fluid to gather around the eyes and they will appear puffy the next morning.

  1. Sleeping with full face Makeup On

After a long day of work or a party with a full face of makeup, you tend to have so many oil, pollutants and harmful radicals into your deep facial pores. You will have breakouts that speed up the aging process. You have gathered so many pollutions on your face with makeup, and if you slept with that then it will harm your face very badly.

So, make sure to follow CTM (Cleanser, Toner, and Moisturiser) before going to bed to sleep or watching Netflix. Also, don’t sleep on the couch, give your body a comfortable sleep because tiredness leads to dark circles. Only CTM can help you to go a long way to prevent the damaged skin after your 30s.

  1. Sleeping with dirty Bedsheet & Pillow Cover

Everyone needs proper sleeping in the night after a whole day of tiredness. No one hate sleeping everyone loves it. Even a whole week people wait for weekends to sleep for late hours. But, have you ever thought about sleeping on dirty bedsheets & Pillow Cover cause skin problems? Yes, it does cause breakout, inflammation and as well as irritation.

Mainly bachelor people don’t think about cleaning bedsheets or changing pillows cover regularly. If you’re a bachelor then you must be getting what I’m trying to say. We never thought about germs, oils, grease, dirt, and grime a dirty bedsheet can have. Also, when you place your face on that pillow cover your face touch it for the whole night and every day, it causes more damage to your face.

You sleep on average around 7 hours a night so, think about it when you sleep on a dirty bedsheet for 49 hours a week. It will produce more bacteria and you will have more pimples and oiliness on your face for the whole day.

You need to realize that your skin already secretes oil on your face while sleeping in the night. So, use a clean bedsheet & pillow cover so that oil doesn’t cause damage to your skin with bacteria. You should clean your bed sheet & pillow cover at least once a week. So, that you can avoid this transfer of bacteria, oils, and other impurities to your skin.

You can also invest in a silk bedsheet as it prevents creasing and wrinkles. It creates less friction between your face and bedsheet or pillow cover than cotton.

  1. Hair Everywhere on Bed & Face

It feels good to sleep with your hair open. However, it could result in breakouts. Your hair has natural oils even after shampooing them. This oil can increase the oiliness of your face while sleeping with your open hair.

While it feels great shampooing and conditioning your hair but besides; it can clog your pores if they remained in your hair. So, wash your face properly and don’t sleep with wet hair. It can cause irritation or redness on your face.

So, make sure to sleep with your hair in a loose ponytail or bun. Ensure to not make tight ponytails or bun because that can cause damage to your strands.

  1. Skipping or not using a Night Cream

Many people go to bed and sleep without putting night cream. Some skip their night cream because of laziness and get slept while watching Netflix.
