Inside the sharply designed body, is the real powerhouse, SNAPDRAGON 845, the fastest processor of the lineup. One can purchase either the 4gb(RAM)/64gb(ROM) or the 8gb(RAM)/256gb(ROM) variant. The screen is a 6.41-inch AMOLED display with FullHd+ resolution and a 19.5:9 screen aspect ratio, unlike the ONEPLUS 6 which came with 6.24 inches. The former, this time has a thinner chin, giving it the new trendy look and also has a WaterDrop bezel design.
Talking about the cameras, the company has up its game by introducing the NIGHTSCAPE feature. It produces amazing pictures even in lowlight conditions. But this particular feature works much better if there is a little amount of light in the room. The rear-facing cameras are 16MP(OIS) + 20MP(f1.7) sensors and a 16MP(EIS) front Camera. The most talked headphone jack is missing on this particular model and the company says that they did so to fit in a larger, 3700mAh capacity battery. That is a huge improvement, but some people might just care more for the headphone jack. Also, the new addition is the on-screen fingerprint scanner, which is really fast and smooth. The phone supports a dual sim nano(VOLTE) configuration and has NFC and Bluetooth 5.0 onboard.
The device is good at everything, be it multitasking or clicking high-quality images. The user gets a complete package in a cost that’s effectively half of what other companies offer these specifications for.
