As Prabhas is currently shooting for “Saaho”, the pre-production work for his next film is underway. As the director and story have already been locked, the most daunting task ahead for Makers is, finalizing the heroine.

In order to justify the pan-India hero image that Prabhas has attained with ‘Baahubali’, it has become a must for the makers of his next films to rope in names, especially heroines who have national popularity. It may be recalled that makers of ‘Saaho’ had to toil very hard before finalizing Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead.

For Prabhas’ next film after Sahoo too, makers are aspiring to rope in a Bollywood actress. The latest we hear is that top Bollywood heroine Deepika Padukone has been approached and given a story narration. Her response is currently being patiently awaited as Deepika currently has a lot on her mind with ‘Padmaavat’ being banned in several North states ahead of its release on January 25.

If Deepika doesn’t accept the offer to play Prabhas’ heroine, makers are planning to approach other top Bollywood heroines. Since its an out and out love story, not a regular commercial film where heroines are limited majorly to songs, makers vie for a top Bollywood heroine to essay the meaty character. The names of Katrina Kaif, Sonam Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are also being considered.
