Oh, internet. Coming to us again with an endless array of stories about people getting things stuck in or on their bodies that they really shouldn’t. Especially when it comes to … intimate areas, people tend to lose their minds and get things stuck inside or on themselves.

One man managed to get something almost impossibly small stuck around his penis: his wedding Ring. This 28 year old South African decided to use his wedding ring as a way of spicing things up in the bedroom and managed to come out of the whole ordeal with a case of what is called “penis strangulation.”

And really, just the name of is sounds awful. What’s even worse is that the ring caused his penis to swell up so much that it was impossible for him to get off. He wanted to use it as an impromptu cock ring, which was supposed to be sexy. But, getting your penis strangled probably isn’t as sexy as he had hoped.

He was probably regretting his decision just as soon as he managed to slip the thing on. Man, that must have taken some work – after all, a penis is usually a fair bit wider than your ring finger. The guy’s mother ended up bringing him to the hospital. Imagine having to tell your mom that you got your wedding ring stuck around your penis!

The doctors couldn’t manage to cut the ring off without damaging the man’s actual organ. But, eventually, with a little help from some needles, the got the swelling to go down enough to get the ring off. Let this be a lesson to anyone who looks at something not meant for sex and says, “What’s the worst that could happen?” Because this is definitely one of the worst things that could happen.
