At Mijwan Fashion Show 2018, held in Mumbai in April, Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor walked the ramp for designer Manish Malhotra.
It was throwback time for Bollywood star Deepika Padukone. The actor shared a picture of herself with her Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani co-star and rumored` ex, Ranbir Kapoor. It is from the Mijwan Fashion Show 2018, held in April this year in Mumbai, where the duo walked the ramp for ace designer Manish Malhotra.
Sharing the picture on Instagram, Deepika wrote: “jab naina met bunny… @manishmalhotra05”. In the Ayan Mukherjee directed film, Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani, the characters played by Deepika and Ranbir, were called Naina and Bunny.
In the picture, Ranbir is seen wearing a smart combination of a heavily embroidered sherwani, kurta, and churidar while Deepika looks a dream in a cream-colored, embroidered, fashionable lehenga choli with a dupatta (which almost looks like the train of a wedding dress). Deepika’s hair is tied in a neat, low ponytail, while Ranbir keeps it casual. Deepika sports what look like large emerald and diamond earrings.
On the work front, there are reports of Deepika doing a film with Vishal Bhardwaj. However, work on it has been held up, owing to co-star Irrfan Khan’s ill health. Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor’s next will be director Raju Hirani’s biopic on Sanjay Dutt called Sanju.
