Huma Qureshi to adjudge Zee TV’s “India’s Best Dramebaaz”

Actor Huma Qureshi will adjudge the reality show “India’s Best Dramebaaz”, soon. This will also mark her debut on the small screen.

Huma will be a mentor on the third season of the Zee TV kids’ show.  Actor Vivek Oberoi and filmmaker Omung Kumar will be another judge of the show.

The 31-year-old Huma has recently been acclaimed in her role in Rajnikanth starrer “Kaala”.

India’s Best Dramebaaz and other similar shows offer a wonderful platform to the young kids to come forward and prove their talent, Huma has said, while talking about her association.

She feels very happy to be a part of the lovely show which is very popular among young kids coming forward and showcasing their talent.

Huma Saleem Qureshi was born 28 July 1986 and joined as an actress and model in Bollywood.

Qureshi has done her History Honours from the University of Delhi.  She started as a theatre actor and model. After several theatrical productions to her credit, she signed a contract with a multinational company, which deals in consumer products. Later, Anurag Kashyap negotiated her for a deal, where she will work for three films of his company.

In 2012, Qureshi made her debut in Bollywood through two-part crime drama Gangs of Wasseypur. Her performance earned her a number of nominations. She also got the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut as well as the Best Supporting Actress. She has also done a romantic role in Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana.  She also bagged a role in Ek Thi Daayan also.

Initially, Qureshi was to make her film debut with Billa II, which was a South gangster-thriller.  She topped an audition of 700 candidates to get selected. But Qureshi left the project since she had to honour other work commitments.

In the Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 1 Qureshi played as a supportive wife of a criminal. The film got its premiere at the 65th Cannes Film Festival, and the film and Qureshi herself received positive reviews from critics.[

Indias Best Dramebaaz is on Zee TV since February 23, 2013, and may offer Huma a nice platform.
