Ishqbaaaz– the TV series is on air on StarPlus and can be streamed on Hotstar. It started from 27 June 2016 and has a cast of Nakuul Mehta, Kunal Jaisingh along with Leenesh Mattoo. They portray the roles of Shivaay, Omkara, and Rudra– the inheritors of the Oberoi family. In the beginning, the show focused on the storyline of these three brothers but later focused itself on the love story of Shivaay and Anika.
Surbhi, the female protagonist of the show said that they had done much on the show, have to raise social issues. She said that the show is now playing altogether different characters, though they look same by their names.
They claimed that Ishqbaaaz is always up to saving the world and changing things. It gives us the scope to be larger than life but on the other hand, that also means we only have this life. They are of the view that their entire Audience base is fully on steroids.
The main character of the show Nakuul does not mind if they get criticism from the audience. According to him, it helps him understand what the audience wants and get help to stay connected with them.
It looks sometimes that the audiences get emotional. At that time we get a lot of flak too. It makes us feel that they are fully tuned to the show, he said.
The soundtrack of Ishqbaaaz was penned by Shaheen Iqbal. Sanjeev Srivastava composed them.
