A marquee filled with fairy lights and an inviting dance floor with a sensational band waiting to fill it, that’s how Sophie and Matt’s Wedding evening started.
Full of excitement and joy on the best day of their lives, Sophie and Matt prepared for an evening of serious dance moves, incredible feel-good music and celebrating with loved ones. They invited The Wildermen to help fulfil that dream.
The Wildermen are a fantastic trio of acoustic-folk style wedding musicians who hit the mark every time with their sunny setlist of timeless and modern hits. From chart-toppers like “Shut Up & Dance” to folky-faves like “Shotgun” and “I Will Wait”, The Wildermen’s repertoire really does cover it all and will ensure feet are glued to the dance floor all evening.

The Big Day!
Sophie and Matt hosted their wedding in a wonderful marquee in their family garden in West Sussex, which provided the perfect setting for their evening celebrations. They opted for The Wildermen’s four-piece, which included sax to add that extra edge to their performance – turning up the feel-good, as they say!
Here’s what they had to say about The Wildermen:
“We just wanted to send a massive thank you for Saturday, you and your band were absolutely fantastic and we all had a ball – I’m sure you could tell..! Please also send our thanks on to Jonny, the sax during the reception was so lovely, it really gave it that extra atmosphere.
“Thanks again and I hope you have a great summer filled with weddings and parties – we will defo be recommending you in future.”
A Night To Remember:
The Wildermen learned and performed a very special song for the happy couple’s first dance: Natalie Cole’s “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)”. Can we just say – what a song!
Sophie and Matt’s big day also happened to be the day before the Euro 2020 football final, so naturally… Sophie and Matt stepped up to the mic and sang “Three Lions (It’s Coming Home)” with pride! What a way to make an electric atmosphere.
To top off an excellent evening, Sophie and Matt also opted for the 1am DJ service finish meaning they got to enjoy more music for longer and everyone definitely took advantage of the extra hour on the dance floor.
