Erigga is awake. For the past two weeks, the south south rapper, has just been dropping new materials, and we can’t help but wonder if he’s planning to drop another Album. If he is, that will be pretty cool.
Erigga isn’t just your regular guy from Warri. He is a very talented rapper and lyricist, and a break away from the norm. His album “A Trip To The South” is considered one of the best rap albums of recent times. And with what he has under his belt, we might as well say he is standing in competition with the self-titled “King of the South” Yung6ix.
All thanks to his street story-telling style that has gained him a cult following on Social Media, and one the streets, from Warri to Lagos. However he has not gotten get much love from Radio and TV, but all that might be changing soon.
Less than two weeks ago, Erigga had dropped a hot one called “Big Warning” and there was the “Motivation” track featuring Victor AD. These jams have been trending all over since release. Erigga is obviously having a good time.
The new joint is titled “Kettle” and it’s another motivational number rendered on a hip-hop track. With vocals from Graham D, Erigga goes Biggie, as he tells a touching story in his usual pidgin English dialect. Already some one-liners from the song are already been used on Social Media as statuses and captions. That’s what we call OT, in Lagos. Erigga nailed it!
