Meanwhile, postage stamps were issued at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi during Prime Minister Modi’s visit. In December, a digital interactive museum showcasing the existence, works, and philosophy of Gandhi and the founding father of present day UAE Shaikh Zayed were jointly inaugurated. The Gandhi-Zayed digital Museum, with the intention to promote peace, tolerance, and sustainability, is a part of the celebrations through these two international locations to mark 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi Stamps and centenary celebrations of the beginning of Shaikh Zayed by Mahatma Gandhi postage stamp.
