The Federal Government intends to present a computerized token including 16 letters in order and numbers to supplant the current 11-digit National Identity Number viable January 2022, it has been learned.
All things considered, the Federal Government Intends to make unlawful and a culpable offense any organization or office found checking the 11-digit National Identity Number.
This was disclosed in a booklet by the National Identity Management Commission and titled, ‘Facts about NIN tokenization.’
