Instagram has started to run a feature that allows everyone to request a blue badge indicating that their account is verified. The option is now available in the Instagram app for Android and iOS.
The Blue Tag is a unique icon with a username, which notifies that the account is a verified account and the authentic name of the public personality / celebrity.
