Smile Telecoms Holdings Limited has requested a review of the acquisition of 9Mobile networks. He criticized the lawsuit in which Barclays Africa announced Teleology Holdings as the preferred bidder and called for a revision of the process to ensure transparency.
Smile Telecoms expressed disappointment as the procedure of selecting a preferred bidder and a successful bidder was carried out. According to the company, the selection of the best bidder was published before the deadline of 26 February 2018, as indicated in the procedural letter.
