Google sets the latest Android Wear 2.8 update for all supported devices using Android Wear, which is not the same as pre-updating OTA on smart viewers. This new version of Android has several enhancements, but will definitely improve your user experience.
It is understood that Android Wear 2.8 will improve the look of your notifications to improve clarity and display more messages that you will receive at a glance. Finally, the list of changes includes darker new backgrounds for better readability (shown in the image above).
There may be more to this update, but these are the ads advertised by Google. It may take several days for Android 2.8 to expand to reach all compatible devices.
