Niger's National Police Command arrested a 50-year-old man, Bamaiyi Tanko, for allegedly m**dering his wife Aute.
According to police, Tanko, from Maigoge village in the Mariga local area of Niger, allegedly killed Auta, his ten-year-old woman after the conflict.
Slightly, according to the police, he threw the cutlass he allegedly used to kill his wife in a nearby bush to cover the crime.
In an interview on Tuesday, Tanko said his late wife had been deprived of food for five days, adding that he had attacked her in the argument.
